Core Pilates Studio:
Pilates for Every Body

An enjoyable and different way to build your strength & flexibility

About Us

Core Pilates Studio was founded in 2018 by owner Tash after Pilates had changed her life by getting rid of her constant aches & pains, whilst improving her body by toning, becoming stronger & fitter. She saw the need for a safe, non-judgmental environment for people of all ages and fitness levels to come and exercise.

Tash, Annette, Marney, Bec & Chelsea, are looking forward to meeting you & ensuring you enjoy your class!

Parents are welcome to bring their bubs, as long as they’re happy to sit in their prams – reformer springs aren’t safe for mobile bubs to be around! There are also full shower facilities available, and a large kitchen and fridge where you’re welcome to store food or groceries during your class.

The Core Pilates Team all share a passion for helping people improve their bodies and making exercise enjoyable. We look forward to meeting you, ensuring you feel comfortable & welcome in our Studio.

We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon.

Benefits of Pilates

Pilates emphasises your body’s core (the abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner & outer thigh, bottom, pelvic floor & more). Pilates helps you develop strength, flexibility, coordination, muscular endurance, balance & better posture.

Working pilates into your routine will bring you mental and physical benefits, including: better awareness of your body, core endurance, pelvic floor strength, coordination, improved posture, mobility of the spine & joints, reduce aches & pain, injury prevention, stability, and improved quality of life

A Body in motion, Stays in motion

Our studio is located at 6/88 John St, Singleton.

It’s the blue building next to the undercover carpark at the Gowrie St Mall. Entry can be accessed via John St or from the Mall car park. It’s best to park on John St or in the Mall car park.

The founder of Pilates, Joseph Pilates said, “In 10 sessions you will feel a difference, in 20 sessions you will see a difference, and in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body.”

It depends on your current level of fitness. However, Pilates does not fatigue a specific muscle group like some forms of exercise. Instead, Pilates works the entire body as a single unit. Soreness from Pilates tends to feel more like an awareness or awakening of muscles. So, you may experience a little soreness all over, and may even feel muscles you never knew you had.
