Core Pilates Studio:
Pilates for Every Body

An enjoyable and different way to build your strength & flexibility

About Us

Core Pilates Studio was founded in 2018 by owner Tash after Pilates had changed her life by getting rid of her constant aches & pains, whilst improving her body by toning, becoming stronger & fitter. She saw the need for a safe, non-judgmental environment for people of all ages and fitness levels to come and exercise.

Between Tash and teachers Jackie, Nikki, and Candice, Core Pilates Studio offers Semi-Private sessions and Group Reformer classes.

Parents are welcome to bring their bubs, as long as they’re happy to sit in their prams – reformer springs aren’t safe for mobile bubs to be around! There are also full shower facilities available, and a large kitchen and fridge where you’re welcome to store food or groceries during your class.

Tash, Nikki, Jackie & Candice share a passion for helping people improve their bodies and making exercise enjoyable.

We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon.

Nope. Socks must be worn on reformer. Grip socks are highly recommended and are available for purchase at the studio.

No. Flexibility is a result, not a prerequisite!

The founder of Pilates, Joseph Pilates said, “In 10 sessions you will feel a difference, in 20 sessions you will see a difference, and in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body.”

It depends on your current level of fitness. However, Pilates does not fatigue a specific muscle group like some forms of exercise. Instead, Pilates works the entire body as a single unit. Soreness from Pilates tends to feel more like an awareness or awakening of muscles. So, you may experience a little soreness all over, and may even feel muscles you never knew you had.
